The Department of Architectural Engineering was founded in (1433 H) as one of the University of Hail's distinct departments. The department prepares students to become architectural engineers to construct and consolidate architecture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Presently, the department offers a program taught by eminent academics from diverse backgrounds who have devoted their careers to teaching and research in various areas of Architectural Engineering.
Architectural Engineering science provides knowledge in numerous facets of building, construction, and engineering, commencing with architectural design and structure and extending through building operation and maintenance. The architect-engineer must be familiar with all aspects of the building, including architectural design and structure, ventilation, movement, lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems, whereas the architect-engineer is responsible for bringing the architect's vision to life.
Architectural Engineering is one of the creative engineering disciplines and the most extensive and significant in advancing civilization and urbanization development throughout the globe.
