The University of Hail was founded as a new academic higher educational institution following the royal decree of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and the Prime Minister and Chairman of Higher Education Council on Jumaada Al-Thaany 30th, 1426 - June 7th, 2005. The College of Public Health and Health Informatics was established in 1430 AH (2009 AD) and currently, it has three academic departments: Department of Public Health, Department of Health Informatics and Department of Health Management.
Health Services Management program which has been offered by the Department of Health Management approved on June, 2009 is one of the prestigious programs in the college, with the highly-competent and motivated academic staff members whose areas of expertise span the major sub-disciplines of Health care management. Healthcare Management education has emerged as a global requirement today. The Society’s commitment to excellence in management education, coupled with training and industrial / organizational requirements would broaden the opportunities for the graduates emerging from the proposed course.
