University Entry Requirements

1. The applicant must be a Saudi or an official scholarship holder for postgraduate studies if he is a non-Saudi.

 2. The applicant must have a university degree from a Saudi university or from another recognized university. 

3. To be of good conduct and medically fitness.

 4. To submit two scientific recommendations from professors who have previously taught him.

5. Approval of the reference to the study if he is an employee (approval can be provided upon final acceptance).

 6. For admission to the diploma stage, the student must obtain a grade of at least (good) at the university level .

7. For admission to the master's stage, the student must obtain a grade of (very good) at least at the undergraduate level, and the Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies may accept those who have a high good grade, provided that the student's average is not less than (very good) in the specialization courses for the undergraduate stage.

 8. For admission to the master's stage, it is required to pass the general aptitude test for university students with no less  than (65) points for male and female students.

 9. The competent department council may require for the admission of a student in the two master's stages to pass a number of supplementary courses from a previous stage in a period not exceeding three semesters, taking into account the following:

A- Passing the supplementary course the first time with a grade of at least (good).

B- His cumulative average in the supplementary courses should not be less than (very good).

C- Registration in the graduate program is not done until after passing the supplementary courses, and the competent department council may  authorize
By registering in postgraduate courses if only one or two of the supplementary courses remain.

D- The time period for passing the supplementary courses is not counted within the period specified for obtaining the degree.

E- Supplementary courses are not included in the calculation of the cumulative average for the postgraduate stage.

F- Attach the equivalency of the bachelor's degree in case it was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Program Entry Requirements

1. The applicant  must have  a  university degree in one of the disciplines of science or engineering.

2. Passing any supplementary courses required by the department

3. Pass the personal interview and written test.

4. Have a minimum IELTS score of 5 or equivalent.
