Brief Description

Department of Public health  enhance the partnership with Hail Health Cluster through regular meetings.  

Department of Public health in collaboration with College Vice-Deanship for training  created a partnership with  Hail health  Cluster to train public health students in different hospitals and health affairs in Hail, this valuable partnership consequently the training program was achieved in smooth manner.  

Organizing a welcome meeting and orientation for new students at the Community College Theater under the slogan "The Future of Health."

The Activities Unit in the college organized the orientation under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, Dr. Fahd  Al-Qahtani,  on Tuesday, 8-31-2021;  in the presence of the heads of academic departments. They talk to students about the importance of their specialties in the health field.   40 male and female were participated.

Celebration of 91st Saudi National Day

On 23/9/2021, 87 Public health students participated in the 91st Saudi National day celebration. Under the slogan "It is our home." The ceremony included many sections to celebrate this precious occasion.

The Academic Advising Unit organized an orientation for new students

On Sunday, 10-3-2021, the Academic Advising Unit at the Program organized a workshop for new students about the uses of the academic advising platform and how to register on the system. This workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Kassar, Director of the Academic Advising Unit 52 male and female students were benefiting from the events. .

The Academic Advising Unit organized a lecture on psychological, mental, and physical preparation for exams.

On 02.11.2021, The lecture was presented by Dr. Ahmed Kassar, Director of the Academic Advising Unit in the college. He talked to the students about the scientific and practical psychological, mental, and physical methods of preparing for the exams. These methods and techniques will positively impact academic achievement and raise their grades. 45 public health male and female students were attended the lecture.  

Celebrate seventh anniversary of pledge of allegiance to King Salman

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Dean of the College o Dr. Fahd Al-Qahtani, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics organized a celebration on the anniversary of the seventh pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him.

At one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, 8- 11-2021 pm. The ceremony included a speech by His Excellency the Dean, in which he congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, on the occasion of the seven years since he assumed the reins of power as King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, recalling the continuous achievements in Various aspects of his auspicious era, may God protect him. 44 male students 10 teaching staff participated in the program.

Graduation ceremony of the first batch of the health security program.

On 13.12.2021 Under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the University of Hail, Prof. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics celebrated the graduation of the first batch of the Health Security Program in cooperation with the Institute of Research and Consulting Services. 150 trainers were attended the ceremony.

Know Your Numbers Initiative (The Silent Killer).

A group of (10) Public health students participated effectively in the intuitive that organized by the College of Public Health and Health Informatics about “Know Your Numbers” (the silent killer) in the Garden Mall on 9,10-12-2021 in cooperation with the Deanship of Community Service, Nursing, and Pharmacy. The initiative included measuring Blood pressure, weight, fat percentage, and body mass index for male and female mall visitors and giving them advice on controlling blood pressure and preventing the future development of diseases, as community services and more 250 of mole visitors were benefiting from the such initiative.  

A field visit to the Hail water desalination plant.

Under the auspices Dr. Najm Eldinn , a group of (18) male students from the Public Health Program visited the Hail Water Desalination Plant. On Monday, 6-12-2021, they oriented on different water treatment methods and steps to desalinate water at the station and distribute it to the community. 18 male students

A field visit to the Furniture factory for wooden materials in Hail.

On Sunday, 12-12-2021, under the supervision of Dr. Najm Eldinn Elsser. A group of students from the Public Health Program visited the Furniture Factory for Wooden Materials in Hail. They learned about safety measures to prevent labor injuries and occupational hazards in the factory, (15) students were participated in this field visit.

An initiative decorating the walls of the College

During March, 2022, A group of students from the public health program in all years around (15) students, made posters, pictures, and other things to hang on the College walls, making health education easier and more enjoyable while beautifying the college walls.

Initiative of Stop the Spread of Germs and Keep Your Hands Clean

On 19-5-2022, A group of (8) public health students gave a lecture on raising awareness for students of Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi Secondary School in Hail about the types of germs and the mechanism for preventing their spread and prevention through hand washing. As a part of celebration of international hands washing day events. And around (65) school’s boys benefiting from the such event.

A group of (5) students from the Program of Public Health; Conducted a lecture at Al-Siddiq and Almuatasim Secondary School for Boys on 18-5-2022, where the students gave health education and oriented student about public health specializations. And around (200) school’s students and school’s teaching staff were benefiting from the such event.
