College Council
The council consists of the dean of the college (chairman), membership of the college vice deans and heads of departments. The membership of the council is determined by the assignment decisions of the university president. The Council is considered the supreme authority for managing all operations in the programmes.
Tasks of the Council
The council performs the tasks mentioned in the university's organizational regulations. Mechanism of Work of the Council
• The council is held at least once a month by the invitation of the council chairman. The council has the right to be held at any time if the need arises.
• The Council shouldn't be held unless attended by two-thirds of its members.
• The decisions and recommendations of the Council are taken by the majority of votes, and in the case of equality of votes, the side of the Chairman of the council will be adopted.
• Council sits meeting times for each semester.
• Departments and vice-deanships refer subjects that require study in the College Council to the Dean for approval as a subject in the Council.
• All topics of the College Council are referred to the President of the University for approval, and the decisions are considered effective after this stage unless an objection is received from the President of the University.
• In the event that there is an objection to one of the council’s topics, the subject is returned to the College Council for further study in the nearest regular or exceptional meeting.
