A brief history of the college
The Faculty of Medicine was established by a decree from the Ministry of Higher Education in 2005 for male and female students in cooperation with two leading universities, King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) and Rouen University (France).
The study began in the College of Medicine at the University of Hail at the beginning of the academic year (1429 AH / 2008 AD) with the admission of 60 male and female students in the temporary buildings at the University of Hail, where it approved the study program of the College of Human Medicine at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah to be the basis for teaching the various courses. The curriculum followed in the study is an integrated system consisting of several units, where the student dedicates himself to completing the study of only one unit during a specified period, then the student is evaluated in this unit before starting to study the next unit.
The college has employed highly qualified multicultural faculty and staff. The main goal of the Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery programs is to graduate highly qualified doctors to practice this lofty profession, and who are able to raise the health level of the region and respond to priority health problems in the community.
We moved to the new building of the College of Medicine for the male and female sections, on 12/25/2019 for the male section and on 20/2/2020 for the female section, inside the main complex of the University of Hail, where the building consists of three floors designed with the latest engineering style and includes a large number of halls Classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest equipment and offices for faculty members.
The College of Medicine is committed to providing an educational program that complies with national standards (the standards of the National Center for Academic Assessment and Accreditation), enhancing the competitiveness of students, and graduating doctors with distinguished skills at the local and regional levels, who are able to meet the needs of Saudi society for medical personnel, and are committed to standards of medical service. and professional ethics.
