The College of Computer Science and Engineering is one of the leading colleges at Hail University. The college consists of five departments: Computer Science and Information, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Security, and Software Engineering. The five departments offer seven academic programs, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Networks and Communications. Therefore, the college provides university courses that cover the aforementioned key computer science areas. University of Hail was established by royal decree on Tuesday, 30/6/1426 H (corresponding to 5/6/2006) to integrate into the Saudi Arabian university system. The College of Computer Science and Engineering began its journey from that date until now.

The College of Computer Science and Engineering consists of two main buildings. The first is located on the main campus of Hail University, representing the students' building. The second is in Aga, serving as the female students' building.
