Student Employment Regulations
1. The names of students nominated for student employment must be submitted from the beginning of the semester until the end of the third week, with a prior official letter from the employing entity.
2. The official letter must be accompanied by (academic schedule / national ID card / university card).
3. The student must have a personal bank account in one of the local banks. (Student's bank account certificate)
4. Working hours must not conflict with the student's academic schedule.
5. The number of students must not exceed two per entity, according to actual needs (two students for the male section and two students for the female section).
6. Students may not be employed without prior approval from the Student Employment Committee approved by the Deanship of Student Affairs, and only in the required number and according to needs.
7. Students may not be employed for more than two consecutive terms.
8. Agreements are signed and students are employed on the date following the date of the committee's approval of the student employment minutes, which was notified to the colleges, deans, and administrations by the official letter.
9. Agreements and employment contracts must be adhered to, and student attendance must be proven in accordance with the student employment templates available on the Deanship of Student Affairs website.
10. he student employment contract form, application, direct letter, and attendance and departure records must be sent to the Deanship of Student Affairs after being filled out with the official letter, so that it is before the end of the semester for it to be approved and the student's dues are paid. Note that late submission will result in the postponement of financial dues for the following semester.
11. Students must be regular students at the university. It is not permissible to employ any student who has withdrawn (excused from the semester to be employed) or expelled, suspended disciplinary, deferred, or any other reason that negates his or her regularity at the university.
12. The employment of students should not exceed three hours per day, from Sunday to Thursday.
13. Students are not allowed to work during official holidays (including weekends) and also extended vacations and exams, and they are not paid during this period.
